‘Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet Sematary’ Limited Edition

We recently wrote about a possible remake or reboot of the classic Pet Sematary – based on the Stephen King novel – but in the meantime, you can get the Unearthed & Untold documentary about the making of the original cult horror movie

Whenever a movie reaches the silver screen and ultimately even becomes an iconic classic, it’s hard to imagine that anyone would’ve been against the movie being made in the first place. It’s easy to think of these movies as an obvious success, but there was a time (a few dark years in the 1980s), when some people believed the age of Stephen King stories was over. That’s one of the reasons it was difficult to get Pet Sematary made into a movie.

Okay, maybe it also had quite a bit to do with the fact that the story involved both kids and animals, which are two notoriously difficult elements to control on any film production. Having them both didn’t exactly make things easier.

The documentary Unearthed & Untold: The Untold Path to Pet Sematary is a work that was five years in the making, but was completed with the participation of both the cast, director, casting director, crew and town’s people involved. And there’s lots of previously unseen footage from the sets in Maine, so really, it’s a must for any fan of Pet Sematary.

Right now you can get a Limited Edition bundle package, which includes the documentary (obviously!) on DVD/Blu-ray along with the official poster and a T-shirt. However, in order for this offer to actually become reality, there’s a minimum requirement of 1,000 units sold. In other words, it takes a village to raise this special deal.
